of judging and hating others people based on hearsay

Although the act of judging and hating others in themselves are wrong, i have often wondered why as people are quick to judge and hate others based on some hearsay. I have heard of a friend who recently experienced this. someone decided to inform some big boss that this particular individual was a bad person. This big boss although had never interacted with this friend of man took this as gospel truth and decided that they can no longer work with my  friend. how do u pass of such harsh judgement on someone u have not interacted with. Just wondering...

I would like to know more on what it means to be a woman in Malawi: whether one, is married, single, divorced, or widowed. what are the main challenges that we face. Is it easy to for example to get involved in politics or public life. What has been the stambling block for us as women when it come to getting involved in public life.
